As the transformation involves changing the way people work, it requires increased abilities for all employees at all levels

  1. to collaborate effectively within the organization
  2. to network effectively with others outside the organization which includes customers and other stakeholders
  3. to innovate and experiment and grow

In addition to training programs on methodologies and technologies, people may need to grow social skills.


Safety Advice
Depending on your organizations history and culture with topics like learning and experimenting, the chasm that needs to be overcome on an individual level might be quite scary. With decades of sparingly investing in people’s individual skills and mastery the workforce might be completely unfit for the challenge ahead. But don’t give up hope. Luckily we human fellows love to learn once we are set free to do so. So actually the best thing to do sometimes is to do – nothing. Getting out of the way might be the right thing!
